Dad just called me.
He, Mom and Captain Walter are out on the Gulf of Mexico "dusting off this old thing"
This old thing = Walter's sailboat
I could hear the wind whipping the phone, and the pure glee in my Dad's voice.

I told Dad I was just thinking this morning about the call I received around a year ago from Mom while they were out sailing, and I was driving to work, in the snow... At least the weather is seasonal here this time.

8.5 days until we visit them and can sail again ourselves...
