We went to the same dealership that we bought my Belle from, and the same salesman, and even the same paperwork lady to get almost the same car, just upgraded and darkened. We are now the proud owners of a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria in Dark Toreador Red. She's a nice smooth ride, updated suspension from the 1999, familiar but updated controls and dashboard, and on the whole sits very well with us.

Since Alan is the primary driver, he considered other options, but sometimes, when you know what you like, what's the point in wasting time.

Currently we're thinking of her as Dark Serenity, but part of me thinks that lacks imagination. Must ponder her name further. Then again, this one could be a guy...
