Larry King or James Lipton?

Here are the rules:
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you 5 questions of a very personal nature.
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them 5 questions.

BTW, don't feel the need to ask for questions in that I don't think I'm very creative as an interviewer, my younger sister got those genes, but I'll try to honor your request as I am able.

And here are five from laruse:

1. What are your thoughts on an Atlantian Principality? Would you prefer to see a northern or southern one?

I honestly don't think it is necessary. So long as all the polling orders and Crowns understand the limits of the size (both geographical and population) and work within them, I think we'll be fine. Folks always think of forming a new group as "solving problems", which the last thing folks want to think of is any problems out there. I also could see it as alienating a group, be it the north or south, but I'm no fortune-teller. The fact is, the northern region doesn't work well enough together, and we've all got our quirks, that it is just asking for another level of bureaucracy that I don't think is needed. I'm open to discussion, and sure the world won't end if a principality is formed, but don't see the need.

2. If you had $1 million to spend, what would you spend it on?

Wow, only a million? :) Realistically?, First I'd pay down some debt, then do a bit of shopping, make any renovations we want to do to the house (guest bathroom, kitchen, patio/deck, screened in back porch, hot tub, new floors...), plan a fun vacation with my sweetie, sock some money away for later travel, perhaps take some time off of work, and then save/invest the rest, if there is any left-over. But I'd love to move and find a way to be independently wealthy.

3. If you could live anywhere in the United States, where would it be?

After Hawaii, I would totally move there if I could. I would regret being far from friends and family, but man, it really was paradise. On a smaller local scale, somewhere with playable water for sailing, swimming, kayaking, canoing, etc. Perhaps on the Chesapeake.

4. Is Alan any chattier at home with just you than he is in public?

Oh my goodness, you people have no idea. He is very deliberate with his communications, especially on a public level. And I would never consider him a Chatty-Kathy, unless a few sheets to the wind, and even then he's deliberate. Also, his hearing isn't perfect, so in large social settings, he has a hard time picking out the conversation from the back-ground noise. But, when we come home at the end of a work day, it goes like this:
A: *smooch* Hey Beautiful, how was your day?
G: It was fine sweetie, how was yours?
A: Well, I had this 11am meeting with Bob about the narglesprout in the network and you know the piffles weren't noticing, and Jill's group was suggesting we do X, but what we really needed to do about it... etc.
Sometimes, if I have things to accomplish, and if it was a very busy day, he'll follow me around the house as I do my chores and chat with me on the go. Sometimes it is over my head, often times I try to give useful feedback/questions, mostly it is his way to process the day.
It could be that he feels comfortable with me to verbally process his thoughts, and I feel comfortable around him that creating constant chatter isn't necessary. I'd be surprised if we were the only ones who were different in the privacy of our home than our public personas.

5. If you became Queen, what would you do to make your reign special and significant?

Y'know, I've honestly never thought about that. I wouldn't stick to one period, as I'm just not like that. And obviously, whoever was King with me would dictate quite a bit as I'd want it to be a partnership. Atlantia wouldn't do well with weak Kings or weak Queens. I think I'd just want to make sure that I treated everyone, be it in court or not, as if they were special and significant and hope that was enough. I don't have a pet project I want to push, or a particular period I'd want to encourage others to try, I'd just know that Atlantia would inspire me to be my best, and I hope that I could inspire others.
